Watch this short video to see how we’ve helped some of our chiropractic clients.

Full-Scope Chiropractic is a natural approach to Primary Care, because you are more than the sum of your symptoms.

The difference in our approach to chiropractic care is found in what is called “scope of practice.” Practically speaking, scope of practice means that we use all the technology, tools, and resources available to us to care for our patients. For this reason, Dr. Ryan is a “Full-Scope” Chiropractor.

This sets us apart because it means we don’t just treat neck and back pain. We view all of our patients who have musculoskeletal complaints with a very wide lens.

Neck & Back Pain: A Small Part of a Bigger Picture

The musculoskeletal complaints patients present with at the chiropractic or orthopedic office may seem isolated to the neck and back (or knees and shoulders) to some doctors, but to Dr. Ryan they are part of a broader system of inter-connected and inter-related kinetic and metabolic processes occurring in the body and the brain.

Symptoms in the body are just that: Symptoms. Fixing a symptom will never produce a lasting healthy environment for the body, and in fact, may only mask more serious underlying issues. This is why it is essential for the health of the body to be evaluated and addressed with a holistic, wide lens.

This is where Dr. Ryan, as a full-scope chiropractor, excels.

More Than Just an Adjustment

Dr. Ryan is not only trained to deliver effective and precise adjustments, but he is also trained in and utilizes the following:

  • extensive laboratory testing, including:
    • serum blood panels
    • gastrointestinal function tests
    • food sensitivity testing
    • hormone and adrenal testing
  • in-office neurologic testing
  • musculoskeletal functional evaluation
  • diagnostic imaging.

Once Dr. Ryan has gathered and analyzed the results of these tests, he puts together a comprehensive treatment plan that may include any and all of the following:

  • specific and neurologically-based chiropractic adjustments (per results of neurologic examination) done by hand or by instrument
  • cold-laser therapy
  • exercise with oxygen therapy
  • nasal-specific, brain-based therapies
  • a comprehensive nutrition protocol
